I started taking Lion’s mane about a month ago, but I can’t remember why.

enjoy your videos. i am having trouble with green mold forming on the pellet block about a week after putting the grain spawn in the fuel pellets. the grain spawn looks nice and white when making the block. i heat water up to over 200 degrees pour it in the bag and cover for ninety mins. bag has fuel pellets and brand with half of teaspoon of gypsum. after ninety mins. i put them in the pressure cooker for 2.5 hrs. at 15 lbs. pressure then let cool. put in grain spawn and seal up. all this done in front of laminar flow hood. in about a week sometimes my entire production of 7 bags form this green mold on out side of block. frustrating to say the least. room temp 70-75 degrees. its summer. I've tried different pellets, doesn't matter. its happened on Maitake, lions mane, chestnuts, and king blues. any help would be appreciated.

You forgot to mention the temperature. You will only get good results from what I have read at around 59 degrees Fahrenheit as these like the cooler temperatures.

I can only find type S hydrated lime at my local hardware store. Is there a difference using type N (normal) and type S (special) hydrated lime? Can you share which type of hydrated lime you use? Thank you!

Why can't you reuse petri dishes? Isn't it possible to just clean, sterilize & reuse... ...wait, let me guess, to sterilize means to pressure cook for which plastic doesn't has the necessary heat resistance

What about the light conditions? I can't get any of my grow bags to fruit more than a golf ball. I have 90% humidity, 14°C and ambient sunlight(against a wall below the window).

How do I get the mushroom spawn

How about rockwool slabs? Hydroponic substrate? How about the inner core (darker wood) of white mulberry (Morris alba?)?

I wonder if you can safely use different shroom supplements together. I try prevent NSCLC recurrence by taking Cordyceps, Lion’s Mane, Chaga, Shiitaki and still to get Turkey Tail. Could this be potentially dangerous?

I should mention that drinking the tea I ingest the chaga powder in the tea

I use chaga a lot but all I do is add crushed chaga to my tea. Like when using willow bark for pain you have to boil it for awhile. I only boil it for bout 5-10 min. though then I add my other tea ingrediants depending on what I feel like. Dehydrated strawberry is my favorite with honey this is a nice treat.

And how would you react if you had seen the same number of amanitas but phalloides instead of muscaria?

I do this method with oyster mushrooms and it takes them maybe 2 weeks to fully colonize a bucket. a 2.5 lb grain spawn bag will colonize 5-6 buckets mixed into 1 141L bag of hydrated aspen shavings
